Chuck Perkins

Owner Chuck Perkins has over 26 years experience in the Turfgrass industry. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Environmental Science from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture. He also holds an Associate of Science in Turfgrass Management from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Chuck was an assistant golf course superintendent for 20 years prior to joining the public sector in 2001. Chuck is a big proponent of continuing education and professional development. Both he and his staff attend continuing education classes each year on product development and research, environmental laws and issues and agricultural studies. Each applicator holds at a minimum the required certification to apply fertilizer/ pesticides in each state. South Jersey Turf Consultants currently holds all applicable Pesticide licenses in the following categories: Core category, Lawn and Turf category, Tree and Shrub category and School IPM Category.
